Frequently Asked Questions
-
I’m a Creative Director and brand strategist who helps companies build brands, launch products, and turn marketing ideas into work people actually notice. I work across brand strategy, creative direction, campaigns, content, digital, packaging, social, photography, video, retail, and experiential.
-
I’m particularly interested in startups, emerging brands, and established companies that are entering a new phase of growth—launching a product, repositioning a brand, building a marketing team, or looking for a stronger creative point of view.
I’ve worked with everything from startups to global brands including Volkswagen, PlayStation, Bose, The Bouqs Company, Papa & Barkley, and others.
-
All three are possible. I’m available for contract engagements, consulting, fractional creative leadership, and select full-time opportunities.
The right structure depends on what a company needs and where I can have the most impact.
-

Creative team building and management -
Yes. One of my strengths is connecting the idea to the execution. I can develop the creative strategy and concept, build the team, direct the work, manage production, and help bring the final work to market.
-
Yes. I’ve recruited, managed, and developed creative talent across design, copy, photography, video, social, and other disciplines. At The Bouqs Company, I helped grow the marketing organization from one person to more than 30. At Papa & Barkley, I led the creative organization and managed internal and external creative partners.
-
I’m a Creative Director first, but I have a strong design and copywriting background. That combination allows me to get deep into the work when necessary while also seeing the larger brand, marketing, and business picture.
-
I’m comfortable moving between strategy and execution. I can sit with a founder and figure out what the brand needs, write the positioning, develop the campaign, direct the design, work with a photographer, review the website, and help build the team needed to execute it.
I’ve also spent much of my career inside growing companies, so I understand that good creative has to work within real budgets, timelines, teams, and business goals.
-
Absolutely. I especially enjoy working with companies that have a strong product or idea but need help turning it into a compelling brand and marketing system.
I can work as a hands-on creative partner, fractional creative leader, or help establish the foundation for an eventual in-house team.
-
Yes. My agency background includes work for brands such as Volkswagen, PlayStation, Dr Pepper, Chevrolet, Bose, DIRECTV, Taco Bell, and others. I’m comfortable working within established brand systems as well as creating new ones.
-
I’ve worked across consumer products, wellness, cannabis, food and beverage, technology, automotive, retail, entertainment, and direct-to-consumer brands.
I’m open to other categories when the product, people, or challenge is interesting.
-
Yes. I take on select projects where I can make a meaningful creative impact, from a product launch or campaign to a brand refresh or specific creative challenge.
For longer-term needs, I’m also available for ongoing or fractional creative leadership.
-
I’m based in Michigan and work with teams both locally and remotely.
-
I’m most interested in opportunities where creative can have a meaningful impact on the business—not simply producing more marketing materials.
That could mean joining a growing company as a Creative Director, helping a founder build a brand, leading a marketing transformation, launching a new product, or stepping in as a fractional creative leader.
If you have a good product, ambitious people, and a creative problem worth solving, I’d like to hear about it.
-
The best place to start is with a conversation about what you’re building, where the brand or marketing is today, and where you want it to go. From there, we can figure out whether the right fit is a project, consulting engagement, fractional role, or something longer term.
